My name is David Mellor and this site is about philosophical anthropology, sociology, politics, technologies, geography and space, philosophy more generally, books, world events, and various other things that interest me.
I’m Senior Lecturer at the University of South Wales, in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. My work is in the area of philosophical anthropology and sociology. I’ve also studied computer science and cybersecurity. I have a DPhil from the University of Oxford, a PhD from Cardiff University, studied an MA at Goldsmiths College, and was an undergraduate at the University of York.
My interests outside work include tabletop games, the NFL, mocktails, and vegan food.
